The Trancoso Square is full of axé

Trancoso
The Trancoso Square is as famous as or even more famous than the local beaches. Following the Portuguese tradition of the time, in the center there is the church and, around it, forming a square, there are the coloured houses.
Some of those houses are occupied by the natives, but in others there are stores of well-known brands, local handcraft, high gastronomy restaurants and charming inns. During the day, the Square is quiet and in the evening the business movement starts, gathering natives and tourists, making it the best time of the day to visit the place.
Recreation
The recreational options are many and aren’t limited to the beautiful beaches in the Costa do Descobrimento. Many sportive activities are offered to the tourists, even for those who seek strong emotions.
Trancoso shelters one of the best 18 holes golf camp in South America, the Terra a Vista Golf Course, which is a project of the respected architect Dan Blankenship.
Located at 7 km from the inn.

The beaches
Down in the Square, arriving on the beach coast there is the Praia dos Coqueiros on the right. Kilometers of coast take us to Praias de Itapororoca and Praia Ponta de Itaquena and, going south, it is possible to find the beaches of Praia do Espelho, Caraíva e Corumbau. On the left of the Praia dos Coqueiros, there is the Praia dos Nativos, on the north, which leads to the Arraial D’Ajuda e Porto Seguro.
Culture and festivities
L’Occitane Theater
Besides the rich cultural calendar, the Theater is the house of the most respected music festival in Trancoso. Its program overcomes expectations, with open air concerts, free activities, masterclasses, musical initiation classes and much more throughout the year.
Located 8.5 km from the inn.

The traditional celebrations in Trancoso have a folkloric air and a lot of music to follow the enthusiasm of the natives and tourists.
